While there are plenty of Go conferences, there isn’t one which talks specifically about building and scaling Go systems — that’s the gap we want to bridge with Go Systems Conf SF.
The Go Systems Conf SF conference aims to gather the best Go systems builders in one stage and share their technical know-how and the stories of how they used Go to solve real-life technical problems.
Presented by Bill Kennedy from Ardan Labs, this 4-hour workshop explores many of the things that you can do with Dgraph using GraphQL and GO. During the workshop you’ll build an application using a couple of data feeds to graph and process data. Throughout the class, there will be a discussion of data modeling and how to leverage Dgraph and GraphQL in your Go applications.
Presented by Pawan Rawal and Ibrahim Jarif from Dgraph Labs, this one-hour workshop walks through some problems that are commonly faced at Dgraph. You’ll learn the approach that the Dgraph team took to solve these problems using concurrency primitives like WaitGroups, Channels, goroutines, atomics, and lock-free data structures.
